New 3-Phase ECO Line Filters are Efficient and Economical

Nu-Way is pleased to announce Schurter's new 3-phase line filters, series FMAC ECO and FMBC ECO. The new 3-phase ECO series filters are designed to solve EMC problems efficiently and cost effectively.

The filters are produced without potting compound, making them less costly and lighter weight than conventional filters. The ECO series filters are built to be used with 480 VAC installations and are available in single or two stage versions. The FMAC ECO single stage filter is available from 16 to 150A. The FMBC ECO two stage filter possesses a broader attenuation band with a leakage current of just 5 mA, making it ideal for use in installations equipped with residual current circuit breakers. They can be mounted lengthwise or upright, providing additional flexibility in design.

Applications the FMAC and FMBC ECO include drive systems, such as material handling and conveyors; electrical or renewable energy equipment installations; uninterruptible power systems (UPS) for telecommunication, computer and data center systems; and medical equipment.

The FMAC and FMBC ECO filters are pending cURus and ENEC approvals. All versions are available from stock for small quantities of 1-5. Larger quantities have a lead time of 8-10 weeks.
