Services: Conformal Coating

Conformal coating of assembled circuit boards provides protection from moisture and contaminants, extending the life of the assembly, especially in harsh environments.

Nu-Way offers acrylic, silicone, and polyurethane-based coatings. All are clear and glossy after curing. They also all have “UV markers” in the coating, so they can be seen easily under ultraviolet light. We keep all 3 types in stock.

Coating may be applied by spraying (the most common), or by brushing or dipping. Nu-Way will mask selected areas of the PCB assembly to keep coating away from those areas.
