CONFORMAL COATING
Conformal coating of assembled circuit boards provides protection from moisture and contaminants, extending the life of the assembly, especially in harsh environments. NuWay offers acrylic, silicone, and polyurethane-based coatings. All are clear and glossy after curing. They also all have “UV markers” in the coating, so they can be seen easily under ultraviolet light. We keep all 3 types in stock. Coating may be applied by spraying (the most common), or by brushing or dipping. NuWay will mask selected areas of the PCB assembly to keep coating away from those areas.
